Meet Natasha
Hello! I'm Natasha Moore, MSW, LCSW, CIMHP, I know firsthand what it feels like to lose your sense of direction, and how powerful it is to find your way back. That lived experience shapes the way I show up for the women, children and adolescents that I've had the honor to support. I believe so deeply that you are the expert of your own experiences, and my role is to walk beside you as you rebuild self-trust, reconnect with your inner compass, and step into a more grounded, empowered version of yourself.
For the past 18 years, I’ve supported women, children, and adolescents as they've navigated traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relational challenges, and major life transitions.
Whether I’m helping a woman heal from relational wounds, supporting a child in building confidence and coping skills, or guiding a teenager through emotional overwhelm, my approach centers compassion, collaboration and empowerment.
My hope is to help you return to safety, self-belief, and emotional steadiness. With trauma-focused care, compassionate presence, and a steady therapeutic anchor, you never have to navigate the journey alone. You will have a map, a guide, and a clear path forward.

Healing is the quiet revolution that starts within you and echoes through generations.
I support women, adolescent girls, and families who are navigating the impacts of trauma, stress, and significant life transitions. My work is rooted in the belief that healing yourself doesn’t just change your life, it creates a ripple effect for future generations.
I help women who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them—whether they’re seeking trauma-informed therapy or empowerment-focused coaching. Many of the women I work with are navigating:
Anxiety, depression, or emotional exhaustion
Childhood trauma and attachment wounds
Relational trauma, domestic/interpersonal violence, or painful relationship patterns
People-pleasing, perfectionism, and chronic self-abandonment
Boundary challenges and low self-worth
Life transitions (motherhood, career changes, infertility, grief)
Integrative Mental Health: nutrition, movement, and brain-gut wellness
Together, we focus on rebuilding self-belief, strengthening emotional resilience, and restoring inner safety so you can lead with clarity, grounded confidence, and healthy boundaries.
I support adolescent girls who are struggling emotionally, socially, or behaviorally. I work closely with caregivers to strengthen the family system and help young people:
Navigate anxiety, stress, and big emotions
Develop emotional regulation and coping skills
Build healthy self-esteem and social skills
Process trauma, loss, or difficult transitions
Improve communication and strengthen relationships at home and school
My approach with youth is engaging, supportive, and deeply attuned to their developmental needs-creating a safe space for them to express themselves and grow.
For adolescents girls, I provide family-based therapeutic support that addresses:
Parent-child communication
Emotional and behavioral challenges
Nervous system regulation within the home
Trauma’s impact on family dynamics
Creating structure, connection, and compassion
Parents are active partners in the process so that healing becomes a shared, sustainable experience, while maintaining confidentiality for the child and adolescents.

Who Do I Work With?

My Healing Approach
Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is therapy.
My approach is relational, trauma-focused and rooted in the belief that every person already carries the inner wisdom needed for healing. My role is to help you access it with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based support.
I integrate EMDR therapy, CBT principles, attachment-based work, mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and holistic mental health practices. This means we don’t just talk about what you’re dealing with - we explore how it shows up in your body, your beliefs, your relationships, and your daily life habits.
Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating anxiety, rebuilding self-worth, or trying to break old patterns, we move at a pace that honors your story. Together, we focus on restoring emotional steadiness, strengthening your sense of self, and creating new pathways toward safety and self-trust.
My goal is to help you experience healing as an evolution — not a quick fix, but a shift in how you relate to yourself, your past, and the world around you. Through gentle exploration, empowerment-based strategies, and a collaborative partnership, we work toward long-term emotional wellness and a more grounded, confident you.

What if I want to pay privately instead of using insurance?
Private pay offers:
More flexibility in session length and frequency
Greater privacy (no diagnosis required)
More personalized treatment planning
Many clients choose this option for these reasons.
What is your no-show and cancellation policy?
I understand that life happens, and sometimes schedules change unexpectedly. I offer a one-time courtesy pass for a missed appointment. After that, I require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment—unless due to illness or emergency—are considered non-emergent late cancellations and are subject to the full session rate of $150.
No-shows (missing your session without any notice) are also billed at the full session rate of $150.
What can I expect during the free consultation?
A consultation is a brief (10–15 minute) conversation to help us determine whether we’re a good fit. You can share what you’re looking for, ask questions about my approach, and get a feel for what working together would look like. It’s not a therapy session—there’s no pressure to go deep or share your full story. The purpose is simply clarity, comfort, and next steps.
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes. All therapy sessions are offered virtually for clients in North Carolina through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Virtual care offers flexibility, comfort, and privacy as you begin your healing journey.
What happens in the first therapy session?
Your initial intake session is our foundation for therapy. We’ll explore your history, current concerns, past experiences with therapy, and what you hope to achieve. This session helps me understand the bigger picture so I can create a trauma-informed, personalized plan for your care. You set the pace, and there is no expectation to tell everything at once.
Who do you work with?
I support women, children, and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, boundary challenges, life transitions, or relational stress.
I also provide coaching for women seeking personal growth, self-care habits, confidence, and mindset shifts.
Do you work with parents in child or teen therapy?
Yes. When supporting adolescence girls, I partner with parents or caregivers through check-ins, family sessions, and skill-building to ensure consistency and support at home, while ensuring confidentiality.
What is your therapeutic approach?
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative. I incorporate EMDR, CBT, somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and holistic wellness practices. Together, we create a path forward that aligns with your goals and honors your pace.
What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy focuses on mental health symptoms, trauma healing, emotional regulation, and long-standing patterns. I can only provide therapy to you if you reside in the state of NC.
Coaching focuses on self-care habits, personal development, confidence building, boundaries, and empowered behavior change. I can work with you if you reside in NC or in another state.
If you’re unsure which fits you best, I’ll help guide you.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
Currently, services are virtual only, allowing you to access care from anywhere comfortably.
How long are sessions?
Therapy sessions are typically 55 minutes, depending on your needs and the type of service.
